Large Group Reservations
If you would like to have a small gathering at the Humboldt Bay Social Club please make a Large Group Reservation Request (LGR). This helps us ensure we are fully staffed, fully stocked, not overly crowded, and keeps you and our team safe. We are only able to accommodate LGR in our outdoor picnic areas.
We are unable to host LGRs in our Hangar, Lobby Bar, or Clubhouse.
NOTE: By making this reservation you are not making a Private Event Rental. Please read LGR Policies thoroughly.
You must provide the number of expected guests in your Reservation Request. Without that we will not be able to accept your request.
Outside food or beverages, and as always outside alcohol is strictly prohibited.
We appreciate your understanding.
A Large Group is between 25 and 49 people, including children. We can’t accommodate groups larger than this unless a Private Event has been arranged. You can make a LGR for groups between 25 and 49 people, including children.
If you arrive with a group larger than 25 and you have not made a LGR, we may not be able to accommodate you.
Please, no outside alcohol, food, tents or pop-ups, glitter or confetti. Please respect your fellow customers and our staff and remember this is a shared space. The full list of guidelines is listed below, or you may download the LGR Agreement.
To make a Large Group Reservation, fill out our online reservation request form.
You must add the number of people in your group, how many tables you would like to reserve, and a brief description in the reservation notes. Without this information we will not be able to approve you reservation.
After you submit your reservation request we will review it to make sure we can accommodate your group. We have limited space, so please bear in mind we won’t be able to accommodate all requests. You will receive an email confirmation once we have reviewed the request.
When you make a LGR you may request to reserve 1 picnic table and grill per 25 people, 2 max per group.

LARGE GROUP RESERVATION POLICIES
All Large Group Reservations (LGR) must be made in advance and approved by our staff. If you arrive with a large group without making a reservation, your party may be asked to leave. Groups of 25 or larger required to sign this agreement. LGRs may not be made for our Indoor Spaces.
By making this reservation, you are agreeing to abide by all rules and policies outlined in this Agreement. Failure to abide by any of these policies may result in your party being asked to leave.
All reservations, depending on the size of your party, may reserve 1 outdoor table and 1 barbecue grill. Fire pits and indoor space are not available for reservation.
Large Groups between 25 and 49 people. If you expect your party will have 50+ guests, please contact us about renting one of our event spaces (the Lobby Bar, Hanger or Clubhouse).
We do not allow outside food or beverage, with the exception of a cake. cupcakes or celebratory dessert. All boxes, packaging, utensils, and plates must be packed out. We cannot accommodate any outside trash.
There is no outside alcohol permitted.
You are welcome to use any additional space, beyond your reserved table and grill at the Social Club while you are here. Please note that all areas are first-come, first-serve and designed to be shared with other guests. Please keep your group limited to two picnic areas in order to accommodate others.
You must check in with staff members before you start setting up.
Decorations: Glitter, confetti, balloons or anything that leaves behind litter are not allowed. Keep all decorations confined to your table and chairs. Hanging of items on walls, posts, or similar is prohibited. Tents and Pop-ups are not allowed.
There is no parking in front of the hangers, or past the fence line . Private Event Rentals have priority parking. Parking may be limited.
By making a Large Group Reservation you are not reserving exclusive access to any of our Indoor Spaces, fire-pits, or areas outside of your reserved picnic table and grill. HBSC may cancel your LGR at any time. Please be aware you may be sharing the space with Private Events that will have exclusive access to our Indoor Spaces.
You and your party must comply with all applicable laws, ordinances and codes of the state and local governments. Failure to comply with the agreement may result in additional charges and being asked to leave.
